Projects
Here are examples of my work in cultural and archaeological heritage across academic, museum, and community settings.
The Hollywood Roosevelt Historic Tour ongoing
I am working collaboratively with the Hollywood Roosevelt to develop an app-based walking tour of the historic property. The project is currently in the research and data-collection phase and involves archival research and analysis that has already surfaced new and previously undocumented aspects of the hotel’s history. The tour will present this research in an engaging, accessible format designed for a broad public audience.

Monastery of the Angels — Historical Research and Documentation ongoing
I am currently undertaking a project to research and document the history of the Monastery of the Angels in Hollywood, working collaboratively with a nonprofit partner on the development of a written history of the site. The work includes archival research, historical analysis, and material culture inventory to support appropriate appraisal, conservation, and long-term preservation of the monastery’s historical resources.

Integrated Risk Management Associates (IRMA LLC) — Research Associate contract
This project focused on qualitative research and data compilation for an Impartiality Mapping assignment supporting an international NGO. The work involved reviewing and organizing documentary evidence from multiple country contexts and entering that information into a structured research system, with close attention to accuracy and consistency.

I synthesized information across several country cases, identified emerging themes through qualitative analysis, and contributed written sections to the final analytical report. Throughout the project, I worked closely with the Principal Investigator to address research challenges and support clear, evidence-based reporting.

Volunteer Projects
Here you’ll find volunteer and research projects focused on cultural heritage preservation, documentation, and community engagement.
Alta Heritage Foundation - Eaton Fire Cremation Recovery
This volunteer work involved post-wildfire recovery efforts in Altadena following the Eaton Fire, with a focus on the identification, documentation, and respectful handling of cremated remains displaced by the fire. The work included systematic field documentation, careful material assessment, and coordination with recovery teams to support the return of cremains to affected families. The project formed part of broader community recovery efforts centered on dignity, memory, and the respectful treatment of human remains in the aftermath of loss.

This work was carried out in collaboration with the Alta Heritage Foundation, which assists families in recovering cremated remains from homes destroyed by wildfires. The project is supported entirely through volunteer efforts and donations. Those interested in learning more about or supporting this work can visit: https://altahf.org/donate/
The Keros Project — Dhaskalio, Greece field technician, 2025–present
Beginning in the 2025 field season, participation as a volunteer field technician on the Keros Project at Dhaskalio, Greece, contributes to a five-year programme of archaeological research examining the site’s role as a major Early Bronze Age ritual center within the Cycladic world. Current research focuses on the organization and chronology of the settlement, the large-scale deposition of deliberately fragmented marble figurines, and the social, ritual, and exchange networks that connected Keros to other Cycladic islands.

The project is directed by Dr. Michael Boyd British School at Athens / The Cyprus Institute, Dr. Evi Margaritis The Cyprus Institute, Dr. Demetris Athanasoulis Ephorate of Antiquities of Cyclades, involves international research partners, and was founded and directed by Lord Colin Renfrew. Fieldwork includes systematic excavation and documentation supporting long-term scholarly understanding of ritual practice, site organization, and inter-island connectivity in the Early Bronze Age Aegean.
